WHAT'S HAPPENED

“Working for Light of Hope has probably been the most fulfilling experience of my life, from the clients and the other people that help us along the way is just absolutely amazing. I have never been apart of something that not only makes a huge difference in our clients lives, but my very own as well. I could not be more thrilled to be able to represent an organization that I feel represents my values in such a perfect and accurate way. I have met the most amazing and wonderful people such as Gwendolyn and most of all, I am super grateful to Kimberly and Scott for an opportunity such as this one, to be able to work for Light of Hope. I’m excited to see all the beautiful work we will continue to do.”

VENTURA COUNTY FAIR

Light of Hope participants spent an exciting, fun-filled day at the Ventura County Fair enjoying rides, exhibits, games, and of course, tasty fair foods. Everyone returned home a bit exhausted, but happy!

FUN IN THE SUN

What better way to spend a sunny day than on the beach? One of the field trips last month was to Zuma Beach to wade in the ocean waves! A great time was had by all!

We are so grateful to be partnering with Shemesh Farms! It has given the Light of Hope participants great opportunities to volunteer and be helpful in so many ways, learning how to harvest, sort, blend and package herbs for spices. It also helps with their   dexterity,  communication, organizational skills, and teamwork. What a fun way to learn.
